one-on-one conversations

Thoughtful support for individuals navigating consequential decisions under uncertainty

Some decisions aren’t hard because you lack information.

They’re hard because:

  • the stakes matter

  • the options involve real tradeoffs

  • uncertainty makes every path feel risky

  • competing values pull in different directions

  • certainty or doubt is starting to distort how you’re thinking

I offer a small number of one-on-one conversations for individuals who want help thinking clearly, carefully, and honestly about a decision, transition, or period of uncertainty.

These conversations are designed to support judgment — not to tell you what to do, fix you, or optimize your mindset.

What these conversations are

These one-on-one conversations are:

  • Reflective and structured

  • Focused on how you’re thinking, not what you “should” decide

  • Oriented toward surfacing assumptions, tensions, and tradeoffs

  • Designed to reduce mental noise and increase clarity

People often arrive feeling stuck, torn, or overly certain in ways that don’t quite sit right.
They leave with:

  • clearer perspective
  • a fuller understanding of assumptions benefits, risks, and trade offs, and
  • a more grounded sense of what they’ll do next — and why.

Who these conversations tend to help

People often reach out when they are:

N

facing a difficult personal or professional decision

N

navigating uncertainty, transition, or change

N

stuck between competing values or commitments

N

noticing that certainty or doubt is distorting their thinking

N

wanting a serious, thoughtful conversation without being coached or judged

People bring a wide range of decisions to these conversations — including health, relationship, spiritual, personal, and professional questions.
The common thread is not the topic, but the desire to think clearly and honestly under uncertainty.

You don’t need to have a fully formed question.

You do need to be willing to think carefully and honestly.

What these conversations are not

These conversations are not:

  • therapy or mental health treatment

  • life coaching in the sense of trying to “fix” or change you

  • crisis support

I don’t diagnose, treat, or advise on mental health conditions. If you’re seeking therapeutic or clinical support, I can help point you toward appropriate resources (This boundary is important — and intentional.)

I help clients gain clarity. This often brings peace and resolution. It can lead to new perspective on yourself or new choices about how to live.

But the aim is never to fix. It’s to understand, and to move forward with more confidence.

How it works

I offer one-on-one decision conversations in two formats (50 or 90 minutes), depending on what you’re navigating.

All sessions are:

Remote (video)

Focused on a specific decision, tension, or period of uncertainty

Reflective and discerning, rather than therapeutic

Before each session, you’ll be asked to share a brief note about what you’d like to think through. Even a sentence or two is enough.

Some people come once.
Others return as new decisions arise.

There is no program, package, or required cadence — just thoughtful, bounded conversations when they’re useful.

Investment

I keep a limited number of sessions available each week so that these conversations remain focused and sustainable.

Scheduling

If this feels like it could be useful, you can schedule directly using the link below.

Before booking, take a moment to reflect on what you’d like to think through — even a sentence or two is enough.

(You’ll be asked for a brief note about what you’d like to discuss.)

A note on fit

I read all intake notes personally.

If I don’t think a conversation would be helpful — or if another kind of support would serve you better — I’ll let you know and refund the session.

The goal is not volume.
The goal is having the right conversations.
